Sustainable development is crucial in the developing world; this program aims to prepare top students to contribute to that effort upon their return home.
The aim of this scholarship program is to enable outstanding students from developing countries, in particular Egypt, to undertake research in fields that will benefit society.
Since 2004, there have been ten cohorts funded, including the 2013 intake, with the current cohort comprising of nine students.
The Yousef Jameel Scholarships at Cambridge are managed by the Cambridge Trusts.
